Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between you (“User”) and NoResumeNoJob (“we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your access to and use of the noresumenojob.com website and all associated features and services (the “Service”).

By registering an account, clicking “I agree,” or using any part of the Service, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

NoResumeNoJob is an AI-powered career tools platform. Our core features include:

Eligibility

To use the Service you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.
• Not be located in a country subject to a Nigerian or international trade embargo.
• Not have been previously suspended or removed from the Service.

Accounts & Registration

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.
• Each individual may register only one account. Duplicate accounts to circumvent limits are prohibited.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You may delete your account at any time through account settings. See our Privacy Policy for data retention terms.

Subscriptions & Billing

Plans

We offer multiple subscription tiers. Plan features, pricing, and usage limits are displayed on our Pricing page and may be updated from time to time.

Billing

• Payments are processed by certified third-party payment providers. We never see or store your card number.
• By providing payment details you authorise us to charge the applicable fees on your billing schedule.
• Recurring subscriptions auto-renew. You will receive an email reminder before each renewal.
• Prices are subject to change with at least 14 days' notice to active subscribers.
• Failed payments may result in temporary suspension of subscription benefits.

Cancellation

• Cancel at any time via account settings or by contacting support.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access until then.
• After cancellation, your account reverts to Free Tier access or becomes read-only.

Taxes

Prices may be exclusive of applicable taxes (VAT, GST, etc.). You are responsible for any taxes applicable in your jurisdiction.

Credits & Usage Limits

• Each plan includes a defined number of uses for each AI feature.
• Usage limits reset at the start of each billing period for recurring plans.
• Credits are non-transferable and may not be moved between accounts.
• Unused credits do not roll over to the next period unless explicitly stated.
• We may adjust included credit amounts with 14 days' notice.
• Referral or promotional credits are non-monetary, non-withdrawable, and subject to programme terms.

AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

• AI outputs do not constitute professional career counselling, legal advice, or HR advice.
• Use of the platform does not guarantee job interviews, offers, or career advancement.
• Always review AI-generated content for accuracy before sharing with employers or recruiters. You are responsible for any document you submit.
• Salary benchmarks are aggregated estimates and not authoritative data.
• AI models can produce biased, culturally inappropriate, or confidently incorrect content. We work to improve quality but cannot guarantee accuracy.
• By using AI features, you consent to your submitted career content being processed by our AI provider. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content containing malware, viruses, or malicious code.
• Upload documents belonging to others without their consent.
• Create fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive resumes or documents.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service via automated means.
• Generate content that violates any applicable law.
• Share, resell, or sublicense your subscription access.
• Create multiple accounts to exploit free trial limits or referral programmes.
• Attempt to circumvent usage restrictions or other platform safeguards.
• Use the Service commercially (reselling AI-generated resumes) without a separate agreement.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or gain unauthorised access to any portion of it.

Violation may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

Intellectual Property

Our Property

The Service and its original content (design, templates, branding, documentation) are owned by NoResumeNoJob and protected by Nigerian and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without our consent.

AI-Generated Outputs

AI outputs generated from your inputs are provided for your personal career use. You may use, modify, and distribute them. We claim no IP rights over these outputs. However, AI outputs may resemble content produced for other users; we make no warranty of uniqueness.

Feedback

If you submit feedback or suggestions, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use that feedback to improve the Service.

Your Content & Ownership

You own your resume content. By uploading content you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process, store, and display it solely to provide the Service to you.

• We do not use your resume content to train AI models.
• We do not share your content with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.
• You can delete your resume data at any time.

• You represent and warrant that you own all content you upload, or have sufficient rights to submit it.

Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference. Key points:

• Career content you submit is processed by our AI provider with your consent.
• Payment data is handled entirely by certified third-party payment processors.
• You can request data deletion at any time.

Termination & Suspension

By You

You may terminate your account at any time via settings. All fees paid are non-refundable.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
• We are required to do so by law.
• Your use poses a security or legal risk to other users.
• Your payment repeatedly fails and remains unresolved after 14 days.

Limitation of Liability

Our total cumulative liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”without warranties of any kind. Some jurisdictions limit exclusions; in those cases our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NoResumeNoJob, its affiliates, officers, directors, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your use of the Service; (c) content you upload; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.

Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

Before initiating any formal dispute, contact us at legal@noresumenojob.com to attempt informal resolution. We will respond within 10 business days.

Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, except that either party may seek injunctive relief for IP protection.

Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes individually. You waive any right to participate in class action litigation or class-wide arbitration.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. You consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in Lagos, Nigeria for matters not subject to arbitration.

Users in the EEA or UK may also have the right to bring claims in their country of residence where mandatory consumer protection rules apply.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. For material changes we will:

• Update the Last Updated date at the top of this page.
• Send notice to your registered email at least 14 days before changes take effect.
• Display an in-app notification on your next login.

Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, stop using the Service and cancel your account.
