NoResumeNoJob (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the noresumenojob.com platform (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
By creating an account or using the Service you acknowledge and agree to this policy. We comply with the Nigerian Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA), the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR), and where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Information We Collect
Information you provide
Account information
Name, email address, and password when you register.
Resume & career data
Resume content, job descriptions, career goals, skills, and LinkedIn profile URLs you submit for analysis.
Payment information
Billing details and subscription plan. Card data is processed entirely by our payment partners — we never see or store your card number.
Communications
Messages you send to support, referral information, and feedback you provide.
Information collected automatically
When you use the Service we automatically collect device information (browser type, operating system, screen size), usage data (pages visited, features used), and session data needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising trackers.
AI Processing
Our core features are powered by AI. Resume content, career goals, and job descriptions you submit are processed by our AI system to generate results.
- We send only the career content you explicitly submit — never your name, email, or account details.
- Our AI provider does not use your data to train models under our commercial agreement.
- Submitted data is temporarily processed and not permanently stored by our AI provider.
- AI outputs are algorithmic estimates and may be imperfect or outdated. Always review before use.
- If you do not consent to AI processing, you may use the Resume Builder without AI features.
How We Use Your Information
We process personal data only for clearly defined purposes:
Service delivery
Analysing resumes, generating career insights, building documents.
Account management
Registration, authentication, password resets, subscription management.
Billing
Processing payments and preventing payment fraud.
Improvement
Aggregated, anonymised usage analysis — never based on your resume content.
Support
Responding to enquiries and resolving issues.
Security
Detecting and preventing fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
Legal compliance
Meeting obligations under applicable laws and regulations.
Communications
Product updates and marketing — only with your consent.
Data Retention
- Account and resume data is retained while your account is active, or until you delete it.
- Payment records are retained as required by financial regulations.
- After account deletion, personal data is anonymised within 90 days.
- You may delete individual resumes, analyses, or your entire account at any time.
Security
We employ industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission, secure password storage, strict access controls, and regular security reviews. Payment card data is handled entirely by certified payment processors and never touches our systems.
No system is perfectly secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your rights, we will notify you and the relevant regulatory authority within 72 hours as required by applicable law.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:

Request a copy of your personal data.
Correction
Update inaccurate or incomplete information.
Deletion
Request erasure of your data and account.

Children's Privacy
The Service is for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
International Transfers
Some of our service providers operate outside Nigeria. When personal data is transferred internationally, we ensure appropriate contractual safeguards are in place in accordance with the NDPA 2023.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes we will notify you by email at least 7 days in advance and display an in-app notification. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
